Updates for 4F
This week, we learned about Biomes and did research. We also went on a walk in our community to help us compare the biome we live in to the biomes we researched. Plants - our students have planted more seeds. Some of us tried our bean seeds again, and other students helped us to plant grass, nemophila, and forget-me-not seeds. MathWe played a math game with dice to help us learn about fractions. We made fractions where the smaller number was on top. We then made fractions with the bigger number on top. We are trying to show what we know about when we have more than one whole. HumanitiesThis week, we read stories about people who came to Alberta from other countries. We made notes in our visual journals. We also finished our paper bag projects and will be presenting them next week!
