Updates for Humanities, Math and Science for 4E
Humanities
This week in Humanities we spoke about how Alberta became a province and in what ways Alberta started to change after this - logging, mining, and "The Dust Bowl." We also worked on our paper bag projects. These are DUE TUESDAY MAY 21st. Science In science we have continued to learn about plants. We spoke about the different parts of a plant, pollination, pollinators, and erosion. Some of our beans we planted last week have also started to sprout and grow!! Math We have continued to work with fractions this week. We focused on fractions that have whole numbers in them such as 4/3 or 7/4. We then used our fraction knowledge to make rice krispie treats today! It was awesome! French Students continued to work on their seasons project. They will have one more class to work on this next week. The project is due for 4E at the end of class on Tuesday May 21st and for 4F on Wednesday May 22nd at the end of class. Remember there is no school tomorrow Friday May 17th and Monday May 20th. Have a great long weekend!
