Humanities Students have started working on their multicultural project that they will be presenting at our grade 4 multicultural fair on June 21st! For this project, students picked a country that they were interested in to research and become experts in. With the information they learned from their research, they are going to create a presentation for the fair to teach others about their country. The students are very excited and engaged in this assignment. Their projects are looking amazing! The awesome countries 4E is researching are:

Year End Project Students have started working on their Year End Project. This is a cross curricular project where students are creating a scrapbook of words and topics that they learned about throughout the year of grade 4. They are really coming a long and you can see everyone’s own unique creativity expressed in their scrapbooks! Science We have been observing the growth of our bean plants! They are looking amazing. Many have large leaves and are quite tall. Students will be bringing them home sometime next week. We have also been discussing where we see plants in our everyday lives - how do we use plants every day? Students will be writing about this next week. I encourage you to have a discussion about this at home. Do we see plants in our food? In the objects we use? Etc. Math Students have been revisiting and practicing their math skills in multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals through math colouring puzzles! French Students have been learning about “La Famille” (the family) vocabulary in French!
