Students in 4C & 4D will have a short quiz to demonstrate their understanding of our vocabulary on weather & temperature. They do not need to know how to spell their French vocabulary. I've attached the phrases below in case they want to study at home. 4C will have their quiz on Thursday, November 29th, and 4D will have their quiz on Monday, December 3rd.

4A and 4B have been studying the alphabet using the video that appears on this blog page in the 4E Nov. 8 post. We have also learned the question: Quel temps fait-il? "How is the weather?"
Students have been working hard on completing their "maison hantée" project during class time. They worked on both the writing & art component with the project being due this week. After a practice session, students read their sentence to their peers and showed off their art work. Students who still have their project at home or are still incomplete are asked to return their completed project to school next week for evaluation. The projects will be marked based on the rubric below. Next week we will be learning weather & temperature vocabulary so we can start giving daily forecasts to go with saying the date!
—Mme Jagger We learned how to pronounce the letters of the alphabet en francais. Students spent time spelling their names and a few words using this new pronunciation with a partner. |
